Hostly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This policy explains how Hostly ("we", "us") handles information in connection with hostlybot.com and the Hostly assistant.

1. Information we collect

From buyers: your name, email, website, and any details you provide when ordering or contacting us. From the assistant: when a Hostly assistant is installed on a client's site, it may capture visitor messages and contact details (such as an email a visitor provides) so the site owner can follow up.

2. How we use it

To deliver and support the service, set up your assistant, respond to inquiries, send order and onboarding communications, and improve Hostly. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party providers

Conversations are processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., Anthropic for language, ElevenLabs for voice) to generate responses. Payments are processed by PayPal. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.

4. Data on client sites

When you run Hostly on your website, you are the controller of the visitor data it captures. You are responsible for having an appropriate privacy notice and lawful basis for collecting visitor contact details.

5. Storage & security

Lead and order records are stored on our hosting to operate the service. We take reasonable measures to protect this data. API keys you provide are stored server-side and are not exposed publicly.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
